Terms and conditions
These terms cover use of this website and the general basis on which Carbon Positive Solutions provides surveys, quotations and installation work. Your individual contract terms are those set out in the quotation and contract documents we issue.

Using this website
The content on this site is provided for general information about our services. We take care to keep it accurate, but it does not constitute technical advice for a specific property, and nothing on the site is a binding offer. Descriptions of equipment, warranties and processes are indicative and are confirmed for your project in your written quotation. The text, images and design of this site belong to us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
Enquiries, surveys and quotations
Surveys and quotations are free and carry no obligation. A quotation is based on the information available at the time, including the survey findings and any consumption data or electricity bills you supply. If site conditions turn out to differ materially from what was surveyed or disclosed, we will tell you before proceeding and, where necessary, reissue the quotation. Quotations are valid for the period stated on them.
Carrying out the work
Work is carried out by our own in-house team to the standards required by our certifications and registrations. You are responsible for providing safe access to the property and for telling us about anything relevant that is not visible on survey, such as concealed wiring, structural alterations or asbestos. Installation dates are arranged with you in advance and may be affected by weather, network operator approvals, planning requirements or equipment lead times.
Guarantees and warranties
Our workmanship guarantee is 2 years as standard, supported by an insurance-backed guarantee provided through QANW. Solar panel warranties run from 12 to 30 years depending on the panel installed, inverter warranties are 5 years as standard and can be extended up to 20 years, and battery warranties are 10 years as standard. Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are subject to the manufacturer's own terms. Guarantees do not cover damage caused by third party work, misuse, alteration, or events outside our control.
Payment
Prices, payment stages and any deposit requirements are set out in your quotation and contract documents. Detailed payment and deposit terms: Not Provided.
Cancellation
Where you are a consumer and the contract is agreed away from our premises, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of entering into it. Your cancellation rights and how to use them are set out in the contract documents we issue. Where you ask us to begin work within the cancellation period, we may charge for work already carried out if you then cancel.
Liability
We hold public liability and employers' liability insurance. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our liability is limited to the contract price for the work concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
